On the 18th of April, 2021, we lost a great inspirational man in the from of my dear father-in-law, Dr. Om Prakash Gupta, aged 92 years. It happened so suddenly and so unexpectedly that for a moment, my wife, Prof (Dr) Kamayani Mathur (his daughter) and me were left flabbergasted. If it were not for these #Covid19 times, we would have planned a big send off for this renowned personality. But on 19th April, when we sought to have his body cremated, there was a 5-6 hour wait ahead of us, in the line of ambulances that were waiting for their turn. Finally, at 06:00 PM we were successful in our mission. Dr. O. P. Gupta is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sudha Om Gupta and a daughter, Prof (Dr) Kamayani Vikram Mathur.
